+ What is Manuka honey?
UMF 15+ Manuka honey is the main active ingredient in HoneyCure! Native to New Zealand, Manuka honey is made from bees foraging off the Manuka bush. UMF stands for Unique Manuka Factor and is a graded scale set by the Unique Manuka Factor Honey Association that signifies the quality and purity of Manuka honeys. If a Manuka honey has a UMF rating of 10 or higher, it is considered to be medical grade. That’s why in HoneyCure we use UMF 15+ Manuka honey!
+ Should I be worried about my pet consuming HoneyCure?
Our unique formula discourages your pet from licking, scratching, or biting the affected area because of its unappealing taste and odor. HoneyCure is not intended to be consumed, but in case your animal does lick their wound, it is non-toxic.
+ What happens if HoneyCure becomes grainy?
If the honey crystallizes and becomes grainy, it is easy to bring it back to its liquid form! Crystallization is a natural process that does not affect the benefits of honey, only changes the color and texture. Place the container in a warm water bath for around 30 minutes and the ointment should soften.
